We Do Not Ask You to Register
There are no accounts, no logins, and no subscription forms on this site. You open a calculator, use it, and leave. We never ask for your Aadhaar number, PAN, phone number, or any identity document.
When You Contact Us
We have a Contact Us form on this site. If you fill it in, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you wrote in the message box. We use that only to write back to you. We do not add your email to any mailing list or pass it to anyone else. Once your query is resolved, the information stays in our inbox and nowhere else.
Automatic Server Logs
When someone visits a page, our server records basic information — which page was loaded, what browser was used, and a rough city-level location from your IP address. We cannot use this to identify you personally, and we do not try to.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which calculators people find most useful. For example, it showed us that the Bigha to Square Feet calculator for Uttar Pradesh gets far more traffic than we expected, which pushed us to expand our coverage of UP land units. Google Analytics uses a cookie stored in your browser to count visits. It does not tell us who you are. If you prefer not to be counted, install Google's opt-out add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google AdSense
Measurements.in is free to use. We keep it that way by showing ads from Google AdSense. AdSense decides which ads to display based on your browsing activity — that happens entirely on Google's side. We do not receive any personal information from AdSense about you. To control what types of ads appear for you across the internet, visit adssettings.google.com.
Cookies
We use cookies only for analytics and advertising as described above. No other cookie tracking runs on this site. All our calculators work perfectly even if you block cookies — nothing breaks.
Links to External Sites
Our articles regularly link to official Indian government portals — state land revenue websites, the Bureau of Indian Standards, the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. We link to them so you can verify our data at the source. Once you leave our site, that site's own privacy policy applies. We have no control over external sites.
Children
This site is a general reference resource for adults. It is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If a parent believes a child has submitted something through our contact form, please write to us and we will delete it immediately.
Deleting Your Data
If you previously contacted us and want us to remove your email and message from our records, just ask through the Contact Us page. We will delete it within 7 days.
